Reaching out for support takes courage, especially when the pressures of everyday life start to feel like more than you can carry alone. I work with women, couples, parents, teens 16 and up, and adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, caregiving, academic pressure, cultural expectations, or major life transitions. I also work with high-achieving individuals who are managing demanding careers alongside the pressure to hold everything together.
I create a practical and collaborative therapeutic space where we can work through what’s getting in the way, not just talk about it, but actually move through it.
My approach draws from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and relationship-based work. Together, we’ll work to better understand your patterns, communicate more effectively, strengthen your relationships, and make changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
As a South Asian Muslim immigrant, I understand firsthand how cultural expectations can shape relationships and emotional well-being, and I bring that understanding into the room. At the same time, I welcome clients from all backgrounds, because I believe therapy works best when you feel respected, understood, and free to be yourself.
I’ve been married for 21 years and am the proud mother of three children. My family life, my immigration story, and my experience raising a child with an intellectual disability all deeply inform the way I show up as a therapist. Before coming to Sacred Minds, I spent years in nonprofit leadership, where I was involved in program development, board governance, hiring, and community building.
If you’re ready to be honest about what’s going on and work toward real change, I’d love to be part of that process with you.
