Selina Ali, LCDC, LPC-Associate

It may feel like you are pulled away by the riptides of worries, grief, harmful patterns, or more. Therapy can provide an anchor in your values, and it would be my privilege to be of support to you as you learn to navigate your challenges.

What does therapy look like with me? It is client-centered, and I use evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, and ACT) that are tailored to you to provide a safe harbor so you can venture into a healing journey with compassion and non-judgment. Clients explore their beliefs and behavior patterns and learn new skills to equip themselves. I strive to empower my clients to live meaningful lives that are balanced in mind, body, heart, and spirit.

Over the last three years, I have provided counseling within nonprofit and community settings and supported adults and adolescents with managing anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, trauma, and loss.

Beyond therapy, I serve as an advisory committee member and Mental Health Coordinator for Dar-us-Sakina, a nonprofit that serves Muslim families with disabilities. It would be an honor to work together to take steps toward peace and fulfillment in your life!
